In the course of his 40-year career, Scott Hammer, Rattlesnake Creek Managing Director, has been an English Professor, a Business Analyst, a Technical Writer, a Systems Programmer, a Network Manager, and, since 2002, a Management Consultant. His consulting experience has bridged the local, state, and Federal government, higher education, financial services, legal services, and retailing.
The creek from which we take our name is a tributary of the James River, and, as the sign pictured above suggests, is not home to any rattlesnakes.The sign also symbolizes our approach to serving our clients: just as Rattlesnake Creek contains no rattlesnakes, the most obvious solution to a problem may not be the best path to our clients .
